Dr Hamish Barratt is an Australian trained AHPRA registered Doctor, graduating from Sydney University Medical School in 2019 and is the owner-operator of Follicle. Beginning his career in the field of critical care, Dr Hamish switched his focus to cosmetic medicine in 2022 in a move that better aligned with his passions and personal and professional goals.
Experience: With a solid medical foundation, Dr Hamish trained in hair restoration in Australia, becoming proficient in the most up-to-date FUE and DHI techniques. He has focused full time as a Hair Transplant doctor for more than 2 years now, with over 300 procedures performed by him, start to finish.
Personalised Style: Dr. Hamish combines his medical expertise with a keen eye for aesthetics, tailoring each hairline design to the patient's unique facial features, hair type and personal preferences. He employs a range of techniques and additional measures to give his patients the look they want, as this is far from a “one size fits all” approach.
Understanding: although sometimes dismissed as trivial, Dr Hamish understands the personal and emotional toll hair loss can have on a person. That’s why he and his team are committed to helping his patients feel better about themselves and reach their full potential.

The procedure and associated risks are thoroughly explained during a detailed consultation before your procedure day. All follow-up care is performed by either a doctor or a nurse, ensuring that every patient receives the highest level of care and that any potential risks on the procedure day or during recovery are appropriately managed.
